Worthy
I purchased this on a whim. It’s very useful and worth the money. In addition to radio synchronization, it includes a stop watch function, with lap feature; a count down timer; second city time; and an alarm.

It is fairly large, but not “in your face” large.

It’s comfortable and easy to read and use.

This is my third “atomic clock.” I bought it because I’ve been impressed with the technology. My other clocks are a wall model and a bedside alarm clock. Both synchronize easier than the watch. BUT, I expected that. The clocks are fairly large compared to the watch. Accordingly, the watch has more trouble receiving a synchronizing signal – it’s antenna simply is not very large. (The signal is a very low frequency one from Colorado (if you’re in the U.S.). Proper receiving antennae for these frequencies are typically hundreds of feet in length.) Place the watch next to a window, with the top of the watch parallel to and pointed out the window and you should be fine in the continental U.S. Frankly, it’s amazing that it works, but it does.

I have been using this watch for 2 months. I got great compliments but, I had to lie about the price, since people wouldn’t believe me I got this watch for the price.

I live in the Bay Area, California. The watch synchronizes pretty much every night.

I have no complains.

Wake up in time
I bought this watch for one reason: to wake me up in the morning — but without waking my wife at the same time. I avoid the usual alarms that sound off — I want a “private” alarm that wakes only me. This vibrating watch does this perfectly. It has at least 4 alarms, and I use 3 to wake me in 10 minute intervals, to be sure I come awake. Once you know the sequence of buttons to push, it’s easy to set the alarm and to turn them off (for example, at the weekend, when I sleep later). The construction is good, the backlighting is good, and the strap is very strong and easy to fasten (with Velcro). I don’t use this for “hunting,” which is the purpose given to this watch — there are all kinds of other functions avauilable that I don’t use. But for my purposes, it is perfect.

Wonderfully functional
I too bought this as a silent alarm, but I am enjoying the additional features (such as moon phase). This watch is an embarrassment of riches: I can’t believe there are five alarms, back lighting, timers, water resistance, and all the hunting and fishing settings for such a little price! I’ve previously paid twice as much for a Timex Indiglo that did less. I wish I’d had this watch when I was in the army.

I would give this watch five stars if the settings were more intuitive. I had to sit with the instruction booklet to program it to my location; I also needed the instructions to set the alarms. Neither task was too hard, but usually I can figure such things out on my own. This watch isn’t that simple.

By the way, this watch is too big for my wrist both in dial-size and strap length (I’m a 5’10″ woman), and it’s extremely homely. However, I don’t think that should be held against a men’s hunting/fishing watch. All in all, this watch is very pleasing.

This Is Not A Paid Political Announcement
I really like this watch. I finally figured out how to set the hunting features. A rocket scientist I am not. I am still not sure about the memo thing. The vibration is great. I can’t always hear a watches “beep”, but this watch, when the alarms vibrate get my attention. Great for anyone who
takes medications or insulin. I recommend it. It is working perfectly.

A little Analog, a lot of digital – super
Recieved as stated. The watch is super, when going thru the digital features, i.e; temp, alarm, world time and other features, the analog dials reflected the current time always, this is the greatest feature I like. The watch, band and all of the features under the glass has the look. The watch reflects it is resistance to 100 meters, will find out this summer, but it worked great while out in the rain. Setup features were easy for me once you get the hang of it, it took a few trys to set up the world time, and when Daylight Savings time kicked in, it worked, including changing from 2006 to 2007. Again – Hats off to Casio, another great time piece.

Nice, good looking. The strap could be better.
This is a nice, good looking and sturdy watch. Features like world time, automatic backlight and the analog+digital features make it a worthwhile buy. The thermometer is very accurate (once you calibrate it to your body temp). The strap however although it is very well made, has big links which make it somehow difficult to adjust to some wrists (because it can get too tight or too loose). Not a big deal though.
